On Friday August 25th Dominic decided that he didn't need our help anymore to walk and just took off! He chased the cat, he turned corners, he can do it all! Although he does seem to prefer holding on to a finger at times even though he just kind of drags you along. We think it's a confidence thing and will probably stop soon. (sigh, my baby is growing up!)
On the 26th we went to a party at Aunt Lauren and Uncle Brad's house. He walked around by himself on the grass and then he saw it...the other kids playing in the horseshoe pit!! He got so excited!! He ran over as quick as he could (dragging me along) and sat right down with them to play. They were so good with him and he had a great time. I can't beleive my baby is at the age where he wants to play with other kids! That just seems so grown up.
