To my little man on his second birthday,
It's hard to beleive two years have passed already! It's gone by so fast and yet I can't even remember what it was like without you in my life. I am so proud of the little boy you are becoming. You are so caring and sensitive. I love watching you with your little sister and I hope you are always that good with each other. You have such a great imagination and an awesome sense of fun. I love listening in on your telephone "conversations" and to the stories you make up. I love watching you dance! I love how you run up and say "Hi Mama" and how you have your own pronounciation of words (like "fuman" for snow man or "wacku" for motorcycle). You're talking more and more everyday now and I love our conversations. I love you little man. I hope you had a wonderful birthday!

2nd Birthday Party!
I'm really in shock as to how on earth we could be having Dominic's 2nd birthday party! It's amazing how fast time went by. He had a great time. He was so excited about his presents and the cake and balloons. We had just the right number of people, the kids all got along, he loved his gifts and the weather was unusually warm. The last two years it has snowed on his birthday weekend. This year it was 70 degrees!

At the end of the party, Dominic and Ahmad had a toddler dance party! It was so cute. They must have danced for 20 minutes or so.

Crashing on the Couch
Although we have decided to be done with naps (Mommy decided after still trying to get Dominic to sleep after 10 pm!) occasionally he still crashes out. He's become attached to his stuffed animals lately which is pretty cool considering he never really cared about them before. Now he requests specific ones when it's time for Night Night.

Apple picking
Dominic had a bit of a hard time pulling the apples from the trees but he did love climbing up the ladders and eating the apples! Not to mention sitting on the pumpkins.

The face

Dominic has discovered a new emotion. Embarrassment. I've noticed it off and on for a while now if we would look at him while he was pretending he would stop and smile at us. Now he has this face that is very reminiscent of Uncle Chris. He loves riding ponies (and didn't want to get off when Gee tried to take him down) but he was a little embarrassed of us looking at him and taking his picture.
Chalk!
Unfortunately mommy had to go back to work on the 10th. It wasn't any easier leaving him the second time than it was the first. But, he had a great time with Daddy. Here he is coloring with chalk while they were waiting for me to come home.

Luv a sister
