Vacation

Mommy took a week vacation from work. We had originally thought about going somewhere in New England or Long Island but with everything so expensive we decided to stay home and do some local activities. We went to the drive-in (originally to see Wall-E) but the kids fell asleep so Mommy & Daddy watched a couple of movies instead. We did go and see Wall-E during a matinee. Domiic liked the movie although during a couple of sad parts he said "I don't like this movie." Then we did the Teddy Bear factory where Dominic made a stuffed Dinosaur called "Dinosaur."

We also went to the Ben & Jerry's factory and what was their favorite part? The ice cream? The playground? Nope. The water fountain.

Another day we went to the beach. The Sandbar is a great place for kids because they can walk out forever before it's above their head. Dominic loved playing in the water and making sand castles!

At the end of the week Daddy had to go back to work but I was able to take both of them in the pool after convincing Dominic that his life jacket was a good thing. We also took a day trip to Shelburne farms where the kids had a blast chasing chickens and checking out the animals.

It has been such a great week! I have ZERO interest in going back to work.
