Dominic Update

On the May 18th, Dominic had his 6 month check-up, ok yup, it was scheduled about 3 weeks late but that's ok. He weighed in at 18 pounds 10 ounces and measured 28.5 inches long. He was off the charts for height and in the 70th percentile for weight. The doctor was very impressed with all of the things he can do like crawling, passing things from one hand to the other, pulling himself to standing etc. So Dominic is doing fantastic!

The doc did want to check out his kidneys though. There is no indication that there is a problem but Dominic has a hypospadias and that combined with a few bumps on one of his ears made the doctor want to do an ultrasound on his kidneys since all 3 form at the same time in utero. So his appointment is Thursday and I'm sure it will be fine.

Dominic is biting on everything so of course we think teeth are coming (of course we've been thinking that for a while.) Dominic just had his first cold. It was so sad. He was stuffy and coughing with a fever and our normally happy boy would cry and cry at night. He seems to be feeling better now though, thankfully!

It's a whole other ballgame now that Dominic is mobile, you can't leave him alone for a second or you'll find him climbing on something! Still not sleeping through the night but he does very well when he's in bed with us.
